Me and my family are going to Walt Disney World for the first time. We have heard amazing things about it and we wanted to make our first trip as good as can be. We are going in april and have already made reservations at a number of restaurants. I put a list of the restaurants and the times we are eating there. If you have any reviews, opinions or comments about the restaurants please share! I can't wait for April! I know it is going to be magical:wizard:

4/4- Rainforest Cafe 6:10 (Downtown Disney)
4/5- 2:50 Coral Reef 8:00 San Angel Inn (Day at EPCOT)
4/7- 7:45 Rose and Crown (Day at EPCOT)
4/8- 7:10 Gullivers Grill (we are going to play at fantasia gardens and the boardwalk)
4/9- 4:10 Crystal Palace (Day at Magic Kingdom)
4/10- 3:30 Sci-Fi Dine in theater (Day at MGM)

Also I've heard Whispering Canyon cafe is good, should i try to put that in?:confused3

Is there any restaurants you would reccomend?

I'm staying at the Carribean Beach Resort is it any good?

Wow, looks great!!!! And yummy. :thumbsup2 Looks like you will be enjoying some good eats while there too.

Welcome to the DIS, standarsh789, get ready to make those lifetime, first time memories.

Here is a good review link, on Deb's site.

Whispering Canyon is a good restaurant, a fun place, similar in a way to Prime Time 50's in MGM, a fun meal. Both those should be written up in the reviews there.

A personal favorite of mine, at the Yacht Club Resort, is the Yachtsman Steakhouse. If you like a good steak, that is the place.

Again, welcome and enjoy.

First of all, I'm so jealous. 9 days?? The most I've ever stayed is 6. Anyway, out of your options, I've only eaten at Crystal Palace, San Angel Inn and Sci-fi. I think Sci-fi is just so-so, but the atmosphere there is really cool. Crystal Palace is a really good buffet and has Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore going around to all the tables. I wasn't very crazy about San Angel Inn, but again, the atmosphere was very nice. It was a little too dark. We'll be going to Coral Reef and Boma's in September, so I hope those get good reviews.

I'm assuming you're on the dining plan?

It looks great! The only thing that sticks out is this:

4/5- 2:50 Coral Reef 8:00 San Angel Inn (Day at EPCOT)

That could be a lot of food with only 4 hours in between if you're going for the whole big meals. It wouldn't be bad if at one you are splitting entrees or only doing appetizers or something. I don't like to have heavy meals that close together, but then it might be no problem for you! :)

Hi! Welcome to the boards! You might get some good responses and ideas over on the Dining Board.

I have to say that I really love Rose & Crown and Crystal Palace.

Have a great trip!

Looks good. We loved the Gulliver's Grill buffet. We went early and we almost the only ones there. I also agree that Sci Fi is just so so. Liked Crystal Palace. We went to Whispering Canyon but weren't that impressed.

I would forego Rainforest (just because it is not unique to WDW) and try Raglan Road at Downtown Disney -- the kids and the adults in my group loved it.

And I also think that Coral Reef and San Angel are too close together -- I personally LOVED the Coral Reef but others are mixed on it.
