Good Restaurant for 3-Year-old in Toronto: Suggestion Pls

We were at WDW earlier on this year, and DD2 was very happy. She will be 3-year-old next week, and we hope to take her to a restaurant to celebrate her 3rd birthday.

Any suggestions (within GTA area)? DW suggested Chunky Cheese but I don't really enjoy the food there. I thought of Rain Forest (Yorkdale) but DW thinks DD will be scared......

Any suggests would be appreciated.

I think the rainforest would be fine. Just don't sit near any of the animals if you think that she will be frightened. The thunderstorm is very minor and I've seen lots of kids enjoy eating there.

When I was a kid, my sister and I use to loooooove eating at the Organ Grinder.

How about the Old Spaghetti Factory?? I think the Organ Grinder was next door to it at one point.

My favorite as well as my kids' is Marche at Yonge and Wellington. If you go for Sunday brunch they have a clown.

the service is terrible, the food is terrible, it took for ever... the prices are just riddiculous !!
We took the kids to East Side Marios and they loved it ... the kids food choices are good, the dessert is 3 mini Ice Cream Cones (ala Disney Style) with topings and in the end they get to pick a treat our of the treasure chest
I would not go to the Rainforset, I was very disapointed...
Not to mention our 3 yr old DS was so scared of the thunder that everytime it went off, my DH had to take him outside

We regularily go to East Side Marios and Boston Pizza they are both kid friendly.
The old Spaghetti Factory has a bit more upscale feel but has great atmosphere. You can eat in the old streetcar and they have merry-go-round horses around the booths.
I'm pretty sure the Organ Grinder is gone.
For food though, my kids (and DH and I) LOVE the Mandarin. Not as much atmosphere, but lots of choice. My DD also loves that after she has eaten dinner I let her have as much dessert as she wants. She is usually so stuffed that she doesn't have room for much... I'm in trouble once she figures out that she should save room!!!

We have been to East Side Marios too, but I prefer to go to some special places to celebrate. We plan to try Old Spaghetti Factory and need to go all the way to downtown.

Depending where you live, it might be fun to go for a "ride" on the subway or GO Train.

It has been a while, but I still like to say THANKS to everyone with their suggestions.

We celebrated my daughter's 3-year-old birthday at Frankie's Tomatto, which he enjoyed a lot. We also been to East Side Mario the week before her birthday (although it was a Monday, so kids eat free), and DW suggested taking her to Rain Forest next year (maybe after our visit to AKL).

Last weekend, after watching the Disney's Magic Live in Hummingbird Centre, we went to Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch. Although menu selection is limited, it was amazing (and the servers are very nice)! My DD3 has a great time there, running up and down the streetcar, going in and out the telephone booth....except she did not understand why she cannot get on the merry-go-round
