good rental rates at Hotwire

We just booked a last minute trip (leaving April 29th) so I was expecting to find nothing reasonable for our car rental but just booked through Hotwire and got a full size through Hertz for $213 (tax included) for 9 days.

Thanks for posting this. Something really weird is going on with car rental rates. I've been looking at these rates for about a month now and they have all been absurd. I first checked Hotwire like you suggested but then I went over to Priceline and got a slightly better rate for the same car. I hope others can find a deal between the two.
