I'll admit it, I'm not much of cook. Well, I can be if I'm motivated. I have tons of cookbooks, and have tried a lot of the recipes, but few of them seem to win raves. I'm looking for a site that will give me some tried and true recipes, using easy to obain ingredients. Maybe some cook ahead ideas? Good crockpot ideas? Time saving ideas?

Thanks so much.

www.allrecipes.com

It gives each recipe a rating and then you can see what other people who have tried it say about. Whenever I am looking for a recipe I need I look there first. Only thing is I wish it had pictures. Good Luck!

Actually my first stop when I'm looking for something new is right here! I just search on whatever meat I have & go from there. I've never been real thrilled with the things I've found at allrecipes.com - I don't know why. The things I've tried have just been "okay" - not the "make this again please" that I'm looking for. :confused3

The other thing I do is to look through all of Margie J's Disney recipes. (http://www.disneyrecipes.com ) :teeth: Not all of Disney's recipes are "easy" or use readily available ingredients, but they're always worth a look! ::yes:: I've never made a Disney recipe that wasn't a hit! ;)

Here are a few I like (besides the Dis of course, and allrecipes.com that has already been mentioned)

recipegoldmine.com

recipegal.com

recipelink.com

recipecenter.com

recipesource.com

recipeusa.org

Allrecipes is the best! I never need to go anywhere else and get the best and easiest recipes from them. I love the feature that adjusts the amounts in the recipe to whatever servings you want.
If you'd like a low carb site, lowcarbluxery.com had the best tasting recipes.

I also love the "ingredient search" area of allrecipes - plug in what you have on hand & chances are you'll come up with something.

Thanks for all the input. I have no more excuses.
