I'm going to WDW next Sept 25th-Oct 3rd, 2010.
When I was there this past Sept I booked the bounceback free dining offer for CBR. I'm an AP holder, so had to purchase the required one day MYW ticket. My husband is being his usual wishy washy self and is unsure if he can or even wants to go (he is not a WDW lover like me
). I have no problem going solo and do so several times a year anyway. My problem is, we are going back in just a few weeks and it looks like the bounce back offer is for 35% off moderates for my Sept/Oct dates. If I go solo in Sept, the Dec Bounceback 35% off rate would be a better deal for me than free dining, plus I wouldn't have to buy that one day park ticket I don't need. However, if my husband ever makes up his mind and if he can get off next Sept then the free dining bounce back for two adults in a moderate would beat the 35% off bounceback deal that's being offered in Dec. There is no way my husband can find out if he can get off next Sept until after January when every one has turned in their vacation requests for the year, plus he can't decide if he even wants to go.
I can't decide if I should keep the free dining bounceback I already have and take a chance that he will go, or cancel and book the Dec 35% off bounceback which would be a better deal if he doesn't go.
I also thought about going ahead and keeping the free dining bouceback and then also booking the 35% off Dec bounceback for those same dates, then later canceling the one I don't use. I'd have the two $200.00 deposits tied up, but would only be paying on one of the reservations. At 45 days out, I could cancel the one I didn't use. I'd have one of them paid off by then and Disney could just move my money around to the one I kept and refund the difference (plus the extra $200.00 deposit). Would this be a good idea and would I have a problem having both bouncebacks booked for the same dates at the same resort with only my name on both? Again I'd be canceling the one I wasn't using, by at least 45 days out. Better ideas?
While we are there in Dec, I would also like to use the 35% off bounceback for my upcoming May trip and also a Dec 2010 trip. Would there be a problem with me getting the 35% off bounceback for three different trips in 2010? Also with the 35% off bounce back offer, can AP holders still purchase the DDP without having to buy park tickets?
