Good place to stop on way to Port Canaveral

We are driving to Port Canaveral for a cruise that leave at 4:00. We would like to be there by at least 12 noon, so we are looking for a place to stay about 4 hours from there. We will be headed down from Illinois and will be on I-75 South on the way down.

Just wondered if anyone has a suggestion on a good place to stay. We won't need anything super fancy because we will be starting from Illinois, driving all day and just stopping to sleep before getting up the next morning to continue our drive.

If you could reschedule yourself, to get to PC, you could stay at one of the local hotels, and not have to pay for parking while you are on your cruise.

If you are 4 hours north, maybe go over to Savannah GA for the evening. Great places to stay and great environment.
