Good pizza to go for in-room dining and fireworks watchin?

Howdy!

We will be staying at the Contemporary Resort in the tower with a Magic Kingdom view (!!! !!!) and I have an intense NEED to have really awesome pizza while watching the fireworks from my balcony.

I need all your recommendations...and non-recommendations.

Truth is my experience with pizza in DW has been hit and miss.

-Disney Quest Cheesecake Factory Express pizza by-the-slice....HIT!

-CBR Bluerunner Room Service Pizza...MISS!

-Grand Floridian Room Service Pizza...MISS!

Unfortunately the Cheesecake Factory Express is no longer there so now I'm on a mission to find good pizza I can have delivered or bring back to our room.

Our favorite pizza places are Godfather's Pizza, Mr. Gatti's, Famous Ray's (New York)...

I'm thinkin...really runny greasy cheese pizza!!

Where oh where can I find this in Disney????

Oh, my . . . . thanks a lot, now I'm hungry and jonesing for a cheesy, drippy, olive-oily pizza ! (Extra cheese please !)

Take a look at Giordano's website and see if that appeals to you - I've had it delivered before, and its pretty good ! I get better in NY and in Texas at a couple of NY pizzerias, but it sure beats the typical Disney pizza or national chains. Ask for it just the way you described it - extra cheesy and "messy" ! I am normally a very healthy eater, but I don't hold back when it comes to a slice or two of a really good pizza - bring on the cheese and olive oil ! I'm a purist - really prefer just cheese w/extra cheese, but like to do veggie pizzas occasionally, not into meats on pizzas though.

I'm envisioning a nice dark evening, messy drippy pizza, a bottle of wine, a nice view from the balcony - sounds like a great way to unwind . . . . . .

Thanks for the Giordano's tip...I think anything is better thant the Disney fare...it's a shame really because everything else at Disney is fantastic!
