Good pizza in/near parks?

I've been craving pizza since this whole thread started, and now I need a fix! :lmao:

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one craving pizza now! :lmao:I tried to tell DH I needed to go to DLR now and in Dec to try the pizza... He wasn't buying in lol

The way I look at it is... yes, pizza is not exactly a healthy food, and it's considered to be bad for us my most people, but it could be a lot worse. It actually does have some nutritional value to it (even more so depending on how many veggies are on it), whereas something yummy like cupcakes has absolutely zero nutritional value. Cupcakes, cake, doughnuts, cookies -- all delicious and fun, but are totally empty calories and not nutritious in the least bit. Pizza, however, could be loaded with protein, or loaded with fiber (again, depending on the veggies), so I think it is a less guilt-inducing, unhealthy, fun food than a lot of other things. (Or, that could be my inner pizza-lovin' voice trying to rationalize my need for a fix! :lmao:)

I bought a Kitchenaid pasta maker attachment just to make flatbread pizza doughs and all I use is whole wheat flour and eggs. Cheese is good protein, I make my own sauce from our backyard tomatoes, and load veggies on it. It's seriously a healthy dinner. So go on with your pizza-lovin' self! You're eating veggies and protein!!! (unless it's Dominos) :)

Even when I used to order Domino's much more in the old, old days (have not ordered anything from them since 2014), I had them pile on the onions, garlic, peppers and other things (that's when they included garlic in their toppings, which was not always the case). Anything is healthier with garlic on it -- even Domino's! :lmao:
