The way I look at it is... yes, pizza is not exactly a healthy food, and it's considered to be bad for us my most people, but it could be a lot worse. It actually does have some nutritional value to it (even more so depending on how many veggies are on it), whereas something yummy like cupcakes has absolutely zero nutritional value. Cupcakes, cake, doughnuts, cookies -- all delicious and fun, but are totally empty calories and not nutritious in the least bit. Pizza, however, could be loaded with protein, or loaded with fiber (again, depending on the veggies), so I think it is a less guilt-inducing, unhealthy, fun food than a lot of other things. (Or, that could be my inner pizza-lovin' voice trying to rationalize my need for a fix!
