Good people in Fireworks today

The most I ever got from it was 800 credits for 1 game. And that was only if I could get a good player and go 3 rounds.

What does a player who can get 5000 points on fireworks get? How about 8000?

The only game I was ever really good on was Jungle Cruise. Unfortunately, there are now others that are better than me. But the time I get home from work, there is no way I can get 750 credits.

But I'm not thinking of myself. What about the kids that can't play any of the games well?
I remember last Friday night when I was playing, I saw kids in the fireworks lobby saying "this stinks" or "I quit this game". It was because they couldn't get very far due the the best players coming out en masse to get those double credits.
Those poor kids couldn't get anywhere getting cut out after just the first or second levels.

Well double mansion lasted 5 months and double fireworks is once a week
for so far one month. So if you think about it double mansion players
got more credits. And three rounds only lasts 7:30 seconds while
one fireworks game is 10 minutes. So three rounds isn't a lot compared to
fireworks. ;)

I know the point has been made over and over, but its 1 day a week and mansion was every day. Many people were getting 800 - 1000 per game in ghosts, there are plenty of threads here to prove that. Bonus credits happen in mansion also.

I dont understand why people who never play fireworks think its unfair they might not finish a game on a Friday. Practice the rest of the month if you wish to hang in there.

(This portion is not directed at you specifically cteddiesgirl) I cant help to think some people just have sour grapes that some people are getting more credits than they can during fireworks friday. I wonder if they were getting 6000 points a game if they would feel differently.

I think the point is more that double fireworks days brings out the good fireworks players en masse all day long AND due to the way that fireworks works, the average fireworks players therefore can't even finish a game because we get bumped back to the lobby mid-game.

Unlike ghosts, in fireworks good players flooding the game on 1 day actually hurts other players.

If you don't play fireworks typically then why play today? If you can't get as many credits due to the firework activity then go to where the credits are more lucrative for you. I just don't understand the logic.

A few thoughts that I had earlier today, regarding those that can't make it past a certain point in the Fireworks game on Fridays:

First off, it's double credits, regardless of your point total, and regardless of when your game is finished.
Secondly, should you get "shoved" out of a game because there are enough players in the game that are better than you, then a couple things happen:
-You get out of the game quicker, still getting your double credits, but in less time than the full game, and
-Because you got "shoved" out, then you don't have to worry about playing with those players for a while - they are still in their game.
Thirdly, Mansion and Pirates games take a lot less time than a single game of Fireworks. Mansion was double credits for months, and Pirates has had multiple double credit days since the last time Fireworks had a double credit day.
Fourthly, yes I chose not to play much Mansion during the last few months because that's my choice. It's also your choice to play Fireworks on Fridays (or not play). If you play, then enjoy the double credits.

In the end, it's all about the credits. It's not about completing a game through all the levels. It's not about where you finish (which is why it's always funny to me when people say things like, "I usually finish in second place," etc - it's not about the place, it's about the score ;)). Enjoy the double credits or don't - simple as that. :)

okay, my 2cents are up, now to start my Fireworks evening...

Nicely done! Couldn't say it better myself...Ditto!

Yep, that's what keeps me going. :)

Go get 'em!

Well, for me.... I try to play fireworks to improve and might as well get paid double for learning. Also, VERY difficult to get pirate games going today and you can't play 1 on 1 like in mansion.

It's not really about lucrative if you aren't a stellar fireworks player so much as, hmm, it's double so, why not?

Heh lol. My personal best score for the end of round three is around 4500, but I
only got that once. And I'm sure lava boy has gotten that high too lol. ;)
Geggy can get what 5000 at that time?? @_@

You'll get better in no time. ;)

oh i hope so, i practice everyday so i really hope i will get better at it. i haven't even been able to reach 4,000.

Yes i finally reached my goal!!!
How many points do you need for yellow car magic? isn't it 4,500?

Exactly! When double fireworks was first announced back in early January, I was discouraged... barely able to reach 2000 in the remixed game. But I made it a point to practice during the week when the games were practically empty. In a little over a month of diligent practice, I can now hit between 4500-5000 regularly. I know it's not great, but it's a HUGE improvement over my lame skills a month ago. I've also managed to get my bronze, silver, and gold pins - never thinking I'd be able to get any of them! All this because I made it a point to practice up during the week so that I can be ready for Fridays...

It can be done! You have to be persistent! So don't give up!! :thumbsup2

I did pretty good today had my highest at 3442 :lmao:

hey. it's good for ME!! and that's with the lag!

You're not? Gee, on a normal day that score could keep me number
1 the whole day, unless ya' know geggy spike or eccentrik are playing. :thumbsup2

Well anyways congrats!!! :dogdance: <--My favorite dance smiley. :)

Whoa, with those scores you must've been close to 9000 at the end! What's
the perfect score for Fireworks Remixed? 10,000? I know the old fireworks
was 300,000..

The perfect score is fairly close to 9100. ;)

I have had a few games that, had I not messed up, would have scored around 9100, plus I have the two games that at that score.

Either way, it's not just having a perfect game - it's having a perfect game at the right time, when the stars align and there are 9100 points possible.

Obviously, since there is a great deal of chance involved, someone could, at some point in time, score greater than 9100...but time will tell.

(As for my best scores after 3/3...they're 4802 and 4890) ;)
