Where are good locations to view the Parade of Dreams, Block Party Bash and the Electrical Parade? Anyplace with shade? What are your favorite float stops? Thanks!

I like the Lion King and Alice floats the best for Parade of Dreams (though I have a certain fondness for being by the Ursula one, too). I've only watched the 7pm parade, so I really don't know the show stops for the earlier parade. I like the area by City Hall and the Emporium to see those floats. Another good place is by the camera shop as you get 2 show stops there (first and last floats).

For the Electrical Parade, I like being up in Paradise Pier for the beginning of it. It's less crowded and then I can make a quick getaway out of the park after it's over. There are also lots of benches to sit on there if you get there early enough to snag one.

I've only ever been when the EP started at the front of DCA, does it go past California Screamin area or does it start now by MM and go past the dinosaur? Thanks

It goes by Muholland Madness and Pizza Oom Mow Mow and the Dinosaur.

but my favorite spot is in right in front of the camera store on main street where you buy your photos that the CMs take of you. If the parade comes from Small World, the first float with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and the fairies stops right in front of you. Then the parade travels on and the last float with the princesses and Minnie and Mickey stop in front of you too. I have great pics of the dwarfs, goofy and the princesses right in front of us!

If the parade comes from the front of Main Street I would sit a bit closer to the hub to see the floats I just mentioned. the second time I saw the parade I sat in my regular spot in front of the camera store and the first float passed us by. We had a better view of the Beauty and the Beast float.

But it was still a FABULOUS parade. Just love that tune!

This isn't a place, but if you are trying to get to the rest of the park during the parade, instead of fighting through the massive crowds on crowded Main Street, weave through the shops. We practicaly ran through the empty shops and got past Main Street very quickly

We've watched the Parade of Dreams more than once at different spots and the best place seems to be on the side of the Matterhorn near the restrooms. When the parade starts at It's a Small World, we were able to see to "stops"...Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

This is a great spot. There is a long, cement bench type thing that is very nice to sit on. You have a bathroom right there and its shady. I also like Main Street, the side that Blue Ribbon Bakery is on is the shady side.

I like sitting east of the partners statue, on the east side of the road (over by astro orbiters and the plaza inn outdoor seating). The reason I like it is because the parade comes into the circle and if you are seated just right, you can get pictures where it looks like the floats are coming right at you, and you can get some great pictures of characters and floats with the castle in the background. Pinocchio is usually the section that stops there.

Is the camera shop by Coke Corner? On the Tomorrowland side or Adventureland side?

How do you exit DCA after DEP? Do you go through the GC or can you walk behind those waiting for the parade and exit through the front? And how early would you need to be to get a bench?

Thank you!!

I like BPB right in the entrance plaza! It makes the first stop right there, atleast it did last year, haven't seen it the last few times we've been.

I follow the parade down to the Golden Dreams theater then go through San Fransisco street and past GRR and Soarin'. Then behind those in the Sunshine Plaza area.

Another question- anyone know which way the evening parade at DL comes out? Does it come out by Small world and make its way to Main St, or the other way? I am hoping it comes out by Small World, but any info would be appreciated!

Oh - so the parade goes different ways depending on whether it's the early or late show?

If you go on a day that the parade is shown twice, the 1st parade comes from It's a Small World and the evening show comes form Main Street.
