My DH Jeff, has been working for a very major health organization for the past three years in the IT Department as a Technical Support Supervisor.
Its a good company, well, known and the benefits are outstanding.
But the job was less than thrilling. You know, you do it out of obligation/bills than for the thrill and satisfaction.
Well, anyway, he saw an internal posting for another position in another department, and put in for it... not really thinking that he would get a response...
He has a phone interview Wednesday! It would be ONE TOWN OVER! (maybe 15 minute drive) No more commutes into Center City Philadelphia, and better yet no 4% wage tax for working in the City.. (actually, I think its 3.9 % but who's counting), its a PROMOTION, and possibly 20K more annually....
Really, he has been trying so hard to get into another department, his current one is burning him out.
We have had so much going on.. this would just be a big amazing thing that would happen.. so if you can think happy thoughts, and positive things.. that would be AWESOME!
