It's difficult to determine from the information given exactly what criteria were used to compile these ratings... or even if this is a popular or critical rating. So I'm not sure how much we can read into the results.
I mean, for all our talk about AK, evidence suggests that Epcot's numbers are more disturbing, from Disney's POV. Well and good that Epcot topped a particular ratings list, but if topping that list consistently coincides with sub-par performance in areas of undeniable concern, what are we really cheering about, ultimately?
I suppose this is just another example of me not wanting to hear anything good about Disney... but this reminds me of the 'Scoop Rating System for WDW resorts... the one that rates AKL more highly as a Disney resort than the Polynesian, at least partially because you can see Cinderella Castle and the monorail from the Polynesian. I can step back and say, okay, that's a recognizable scale, all right, but I don't see that the scale is any meaningful indicator of a change in philosophy or a change of fortune for Disney.
