Good News Bad News

Good news only 10 more days to go. Bad news is I got layed off Friday believe this by phone. I was floored that they called me to tell me this could not wait till Monday and tell me to my face. I can't cancel my trip as I have too many unrefundable $$$$$$$$ invested already so I will make the best of it. Been trying to cancel some dining ADR'S but the system does not work and has not for the past 2 weeks and I do not have long distant phone service. I guess I will just wait till I get there and cancel then. Sucks a bumber they did this to me 2nd year in a row. At least last year I was able to cancel.

I am so sorry to read about you losing your job. Dh and I have been in that situation.


Did you get the vacation insurance?? If you did, I believe you can get your vacation package money back.

Sorry to hear the news. Know how you feel. Got laid off 2 days before we left last year. I told my boss I cannot believe you are doing this 2 days before I leave on vacation. All he said was sorry. I was pissed until my kids got home and all they could talk about was Disney and how excited they were. AND my WIFE was and has been wonderful thru all this. Just have fun and remember it is Disney and forget the rest of the world for a few days.

I hate to hear about your bad news. Is your transportation, trip, and dining already paid for? If yes, then I would still go since it won't require much out of pocket money paid (except for tips). If not, I would call Disney and see if they will refund your money.

Or maybe if you don't have money for tips etc, and Disney won't refund your money, maybe you can bump your trip off for a bit?
