Good News & Bad News: We got our pictures! UPDATED! WE GOT THE REST!

I have good news, we got the DVD with our hi-res pictures from DPS! The photos we got are beautiful! Amy was/is a fantastic photographer and I would highly recommend her if you go with Disney's photography.

The bad news is, I don't think we got all of our pictures We have all of the pics from the ceremony, post-ceremony, family group pics which came to a little over 200 pics. However also on the disk are our EPCOT portrait session pics are there are less than 50? We had photos taken in 5 different countries are there are only photos from 3. I'm pretty sure Amy said she took almost 200 while in EPCOT so I don't understand while we're missing 2 countries. I've emailed our planner but I probably won't hear back from her till tomorrow. I just wanted to vent and see if anyone may have had any insight for me.

wow, that sucks, hopefully you'll find out what's happened... Isn't the epcot shoot $300? I wouldn't be happy with 50 photos for that much.

The EPCOT shoot is $750 plus we spent another $395 to buy the rights to ALL our pics, so yeah 50 photos isn't a whole lot. I'm hoping the same that since they're hi-res they didn't all fit and there's another disk in the mail.

Yep they are. We did UK, France, Japan, Italy and Germany (in that order) and we only have pictures from the first three countries. I know that Amy said she took almost as many pictures during our EPCOT shoot as the wedding itself (2 memory sticks worth between the two events) so I know there should be more. Hopefully I'll hear something tomorrow.

I went through the pics with DH he thinks that the disk was finalized before it was actually done being loaded with pics, because the very last photo doesn't load all the way. So I sent another email to Kathleen letting her know what he said so we'll see. Gotta love a hubby who knows computers!

I have an update! I heard from Kathleen and told her what DH thought and she checked with DPS and he was right! There was a hiccup with the burning of our disk, so they're re-burning the whole thing with the missing pics and sending us a new disk! She said it might take up to two weeks but we're getting the rest of our pictures!

I don't understand why it would take DPS so long to burn a new CD and get
it to you. You would think they could burn it for you right away and then get it in the mail to you the same day.
I wouldn't want to wait another two weeks but thank goodness they have them.

I know it sounds like a long time to get a disk doesn't it? Maybe it's because they wanna make sure it gets burned correctly this time? The good news is they do have them!

I have a question about your Epcot shoot. Were you limited to 5 countries or were those the only ones you wanted? About how long did the session take?
