I'm in the process of planning a possible trip for mid-May. Usually sleeping isn't a huge issue, but we may possibly be bringing dd's boyfriend with us. Although my dd tells me to 'get out of the 50's Mom', my dh is NOT going to have his baby girl snoozing with the boyfriend, especially when he's paying the bill! So, I need a place that has, at least, two queen beds, and sleep sofa, that is within walking distance of the parks.
And....that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Okay DISers, that's your mission...find me this elusive place to stay!!!! Thanks.

I just read something this week about the carousel inn having 2 bedroom suites with 3 beds and a sleeper sofa other than that most of the good neighbor hotels have 2 queens with a sleeper.

The Desert Inn and Suites isn't fancy, but it has a variety of suite options. They're typically the least expensive option on Harbor. Best Western Park Place Inn has "minisuites" with two queens and a sleeper sofa. It's really just one room, though, not a true suite. I've stayed in both places, and they're clean, CLOSE, and comfortable.

Desert Inn & Suites has a variety of room setups. Look at what they have to offer.
FYI. The earlier you book the better the rate.

We booked the Anaheim Camelot Inn family suite. It has 2 connected rooms, one with a king bed and small dinette table, and the other has 2 queen beds and the shared bathroom. It was $ 219/nt. with AAA discount. It is directly across the street, which is a must for us!

The Desert Inn and Park Vue Inn will have the type of set up you are looking for. Park Vue even has a room that has a seperate room with a king in it that the boyfriend could have.

Park Vue Inn has a suite with queen and pull out and its awesome!! They have a great breakfast, free parking, free wifi and it is across the crosswalk from the DL entrance, the rooms have been remolded in the last cpl years and it was very clean

ETA: The new Homewood suites is a little further away but it also has rooms like that and it if you are staying I think 3 or more days maybe? The price is only $150/night its right next to the Toy Story lot also you do have to pay for parking if you have a car but there is free breakfast and some kind of evening food during the week

Thanks you guys!! Some great options...ones that won't break the bank either.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I didn't realize it was opening so soon (Nov 30th). And yes, it looks like a very convenient location.

NP and the prices right now are GREAT!!!! I hate to pay for parking because we stay for 2 weeks usually but even with paying for parking it was still cheaper than what we would have paid at Park Vue Inn which is where we would have been staying otherwise.

Desert Palms has a variety of sleeping situations.

As does Anabella, though some of their sleeping situations have DOORS and that might be too tempting.

In my family if I'd ever tried to travel with a boyfriend at an age where my parents were still paying for me, said boyfriend would have his own room and he'd be paying for it. Pretty sure we'll be following suit should DS have a girlfriend going on a trip we're paying for.

Last Oct we stayed at DoubleTree Suites, 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa. We walked to the park most days but you can also use ART or walk to Toy Story lot and take the shuttle. This current trip we are at Embassy Suites S. They have a shuttle, for a fee, that runs on a set schedule, only stops at DL which was very convenient but we weren't too happy with the hotel. Rooms were clean but the place is just a bit old and elevators were always broken down.

I'm liking the two room suite at Desert Inn. The boyfriend would share a room with my dh. Dd and I would take the other room. Dh snores, so we are seldom sleeping together. This way we get to sleep and have privacy changing and such. Girls room, boys room!
Normally I would say that yes, the boyfriend pays for his room. But my dd stayed with his family this summer, so she could work in that area. This would be a nice way to return the favor, so to speak. He would pay his own airfare and park passes.

The best part about the two room suite at the Desert Inn--TWO BATHROOMS!!! We stayed in the C2 suite a year and a half ago, and it was perfect for our needs. The bathrooms made getting ready in the morning so much easier.

We stay at Park Vue Inn when we need a separate sleeping area. 2 queens in the bedroom, 1 sleeper sofa outside the bedroom. They also have a free hot breakfast, which would save serious money when you are feeding 4 adults!

Here's some pictures of the 2 Queen, 1 bedroom suite:
Here's the living room/kitchen area. Please forgive my daughter's scowl. She doesn't like the day we fly away from Disneyland again! The sofa is a double-sized sofa sleeper that is surprisingly comfortable, according to DD:

Here's the desk area. (I know, no big deal. But there's 2 TVs in the unit.)

Here's the bed next to the desk.

Here's the other bed.

Vanity area outside the bathroom.

The bathroom is nothing special, but we like that there's a vanity in there, too, so after showers, I can use one vanity, and DD can use the other.

All that space for under $250/night! That's cheaper than doing two separate rooms at most places!

Thanks everyone!! I think we'll book at Desert Inn....that way, we get the two bathrooms, and 4 beds! One for everyone. And it's pretty reasonable as well.

Okay....someone, please, steer me in the right direction here. I'm really conflicted. I'm trying to choose between Camelot Inn and Suites and Desert Inn and Suites. They are basically the same cost. Difference is two bathrooms at Desert Inn and a queen bed for each person vs one bathroom and 2 queens and a king and a sofa bed at Camelot, but comes more highly recommended.
Any advice?

Thanks for the info on Desert Inn. We reserved a suite with 4 queens and a sofa sleeper and 2 full baths.
With the 6 of us, all the kids will have their own bed!!! This will make for a much more peaceful evening.
