good neighbor hotel pool question

Do any of the good neighbor hotels have a decent pool? We are going in August and I am sure we will need an afternoon break, just wondering if the pools are tiny, or big enough to accomodate alot of people.

What about Disney property pools? Are they much bigger?

The Anaheim Plaza has a very large pool. I think it is Olympic sized. We enjoyed when we stayed there.

I see that the previous poster has beat me to it, but here is another reccomendation for the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. It *is* and older hotel, but I have found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, but the main draw is the pool! It is Olympic-sized, and there's a hot tub, as well!

The Howard Johnson also has a nice pool, as does the Tropicana (in my opinion).

If you are looking for more moderate price you might check out the Ramada Inn Maingate, and if you are looking for a more deluxe hotel, but not as expensive as the Disney hotels, you might try either the Sheraton Anaheim or Sheraton Park. The Sheraton Park also has a pool bar.

We like the pool at the Tropicana and the pool at the HoJo and the pirate play area at the HoJo.

The Anabella has two pools. One is for everyone. The other, smaller pool is for adults only so it's a bit quieter.

and yes, the Disney pools are much nicer.....with lots of towels, theming. food service, and water slides.But all at a price!
