Good Morning! It's another beautiful sunny day here in NC! AND... it's my BIRTHDAY! Woohoo! My dd drove in from out of town last night, and my dh flew back home from an out-of-state trip! The only person missing is my Disney College Program ds, but I'll get to see him in just under two weeks! Yippee!!!

I have to head back to work on dd bedroom, the wallpaper from.... well you cant even imagine! 2 hours per strip to get off, now we spackle, then sand, then prime, then maybe I can paint - all because squirrels chewed a hole in her wall!! The reward?? My trip to WDW!! Hip Hip HOORAY

eeyore45 - good luck on your dd's bedroom. Sounds like quite a chore! Just keep picturing yourself at WDW to get through it.

My dh and a neighbor are at this moment attemping to put two small surround sound speakers up in our living room. They've already cut one hole in the drywall to run the wires, but hit dead onto the stud... so now they have to cut another hole in the wall. In the meantime, they realized the snakey-thing has hit something inside the wall six inches up from where they drilled under the house, so right they're back under the house trying to drill a hole through that, too. That's how my birthday is going so far! I think I'm going to get dd and head out to a mall to get away from this! haha

I just got home from shopping with dd and found that dh and neighbor quit trying to wire the walls for the speakers. They gave up after accidently drilling a large hole from under the house to OUTSIDE the house, instead of up the floorboards and into the wall. Dh said, "don't worry, we patched the hole outside." Yeah, they patched it alright - with old putty that's brown - on our light colored siding... niiiiice. Yup, we'll be shopping for speaker floor-stands after dinner tonight. And, he still hasn't even attempted to patch the big hole on the wall inside the house where the speaker was supposed to go! I know he's scared to even try - first, because he really has no clue how to patch a large hole, and second, because he knows we don't have any touch-up paint. Oh well. It could always be worse. Right???

Other than that, I'm really having a great birthday spending time with dd. I hope everyone else's day is going well, too!
