"Good Morning Gathering:

Begin your Magic Kingdom day with a unique Disney Character breakfast filled with surprised including a reserved viewing of Mickey's PhilharMagic."

This is for Grand Gatherings. Has anyone done it? What restaurant is it and do they accept dining plan?

Any info is appreciated!

I did this last summer. It's at Tony's Town Square. It was all Grand Gathering groups. They don't do it every day, so you have to check the schedule of GG events before you make your other reservations. After we were all seated, "Tony" came out, who looked like the character from the movie. He was the MC, and then some characters came out, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy I think. They did a little dance at the front and then went around to meet and greet at the tables. You could also meet Tony. Everyone got a special GG pin, and then one by one the families were brought up for a photo with Mickey. You could go right down to see Philharmagic after breakfast, but we had just gone to MK that day for the breakfast, so we didn't do that. It was a nice event, and I'd do it again. Actually, all 4 of the GG events were nice.

yes it is excepted on the DP 1ts credit only all other gg ecxperiences are 2 tbls so this is a nice one to try and get a private meet with the big CHEESE himself..DO IT!

when are you going to wdw? you could "combine" w/another family/group and become a grand gathering... you don't even have to be staying at the same resort...

we are a party of 7 but we know another family of 3 that are going to be down there the same time as us. Never thought to get together as a grand gathering! Silly me!

Sounds like a great idea! We are going in Sept. I'll have to wait until June to find out hours and everything. I'm sure with everyone goes for free dining, It should not be hard to find another family of 4 to share the experience with.:goodvibes
