Good Morning from Vero!

Good Morning Vero Beach!!! (insert Robin Williams’ voice “here”)<br><br>

Well… Even though I had to stay up to watch that AWESOME game last night, I still managed to get up to catch the sunrise this morning. The front desk told me it was to happen at 7:20, so I thought that wouldn’t be <I>too</I>bad.<br><br>

Now, let me tell you… I <I>live</I> in Florida … born and raised here… been making fun of tourists all my life… <br>
But get me to Vero Beach, and I’m up with the rest of the tourists before sun-up to get that “picture of a lifetime!” J<br><br>
Well, folks – it didn’t happen this morning! Mother nature had other plans…<br><br>
But, here’s a few pics, anyway… Hope you enjoy.

Hi all!

Well the banana pancakes were great - as usual!!

The wind just started to blow really hard, and the sky was getting dark, so we "retreated" to the cottage...

But now it appears to be getting clear, again.

Brings back memories of our visit last November. I too, was up at the crack of dawn trying to catch a few pictures of the sunrise.

Thank you for the wonderful pic's, we just got home from Vero on Saturday, stayed there from 10/6-10/12, it was incredible, our 3rd visit there, we love it everytime! The weather was incredible, the waves the last Friday were incredible bec. of Kyle hitting to the north there was no beach to speak of and we really had a blast getting tossed around in the huge surf! Poolside was great as always and really enjoy shooting down the slide like a big tuna and having water shoot up into the sinuses as I hit the water at the bottom out of control and laughing too hard to plug up the nose....... ahhhhh, great trip, have a Frozen Alligator and enjoy the wonderful sunrises! Jeff.

Thanks for the pictures! Vero is one of our favorite places. No matter what the condition of the beach is (and we did see it in not-so-good shape last year) it is just like 'home'. We even feel we've gotten to know the surrounding properties and like to see how they fare as well during the year. It is exciting to see the beach in all types of conditions and weather-there is a real feeling of ownership. And that's why DVC is so great.
