Thanks to the strike, I got to work at 6:45 AM this morning. Here's what I've learned so far today:
I can function at 6:00 AM. Maybe I really am a morning person (highly doubtful, and once the strike ends, I am getting up at my usual 7:30 AM).
You can get a cheap breakfast in the employee cafeteria! I got eggs, bacon and some hash browns for $3.00. I feel better than I did yesterday, wherein I ate Christmas cookies washed down with Diet Pepsi, and had a splitting headache by 10:00 AM.
I can actually get a lot of work done before everyone else gets here. Office hours start at 9:30 AM, and the phone never stops ringing. I can actually concentrate on one task at a time. I don't have Adult ADD -- who knew??
Can't wait to find out what Day 3 will bring.
