Hi

Does anyone know anything about these? Only we are going on Sunday and there are EMH on the Monday morning, so we thought if this is still an option, it may be a good idea.

We are staying at the Newport Bay, so think if it is still available we will definately do.

If it is, does anyone know if the hotel book it for you? Also, where is a good place to go, to put us in a position for rides for the younger age group. Finally, is it a buffet?

Sorry, so many questions, but I can't find out much about it.

Thanks

Kate

You book it through your hotel when you check in. You are told which restaurant it is in - you arent given a choice but it is usually Chalet des Marionettes or Bella Notta both in Fantasyland.

We booked the late one so we could do some EMH first then eat about 9.30

Yes it is a buffet

We arrived early last Sunday evening (26th Oct) and managed to get a cancellation for the following Monday am at 8.15am in the Plaza Gardens. This is the first 'sitting'. It seems you can only swap one of your hotel breakfast cards for the Good Morning Fantasyland breakfast the day before you want the GMF breakfast, i.e. you can't book a GMF for every day on your arrival day. It was a good experience to have breakfast 'in Disneyland' and there was a good selection of breakfast items available. We finished about 8.45am so had just over an hour of EMH. We did have to queue for rides at this time.

The following morning we had a ticket for breakfast in the hotel (Santa Fe)and as the kids were awake by 7am this meant we had had breakfast and walked to the Park by 8.15am ready for the rides etc. We didn't notice any difference between what was on offer for the breakfasts.

By the third day we decided because the kids were up and awake anyway, we definitely got more EMH by having breakfast at the hotel than in the Park itself. We almost walked onto the rides between 8am and 8.45am when we would otherwise have been having GMF breakfast.

However, by 7.30am the queues to the hotel breakfast we huge, so I guess if you want a 'lie in' have a GMF, but if you will be up anyway then grab and early breakfast in the hotel and head straight for the park :o)

I think thats great advice Sophin.

Or, if you prefer a late breakfast, you could try and get the GMF late one - I believe they have slots up to around 9.45am latest. That way, you can do the earliest hour and a half of EMH then go for breakfast.

We asked for GMF breakfast on a Monday evening when we checked in, for the Wednesday, and had no trouble at all getting this (we were staying at the NBC).

I fancy trying GMF Brekki when we're there in December, hopefully we can book it, when we arrive, we'll be getting to the hotel at 9.30am so hopefully should get a good choice for brekki options/times.

Thanks for the info. Just what I needed.

I think we are going to do one on the Monday if possible, but as late as we can, so go in the park, do some rides and then stop for a later breakfast.

If not will do on the Monday.

Only need to sort out a time for Cafe Mickey now, probably evening although I have heard it is manic then, but we only have three days so don't want to spend it coming out of the parks and back in again during lunctime.

What are the thought on this. We wouldn't be able to be late, as we have a four year old.

What time is the last parade?

Kate
