Send the lucky familes to Animal Kingdom so they can watch the animals even when not IN the park itself..Kids adore animals ... the families with kids with special needs will be able to veiw them from areas there even if they might be too tired to go in a park that day! also tour books are very helpful so they know the things they don't want to miss while there...and a few Disney Dollars to purchase keepsakes would be nice as well...AND Ty...I have a co worker whose brother in law was one of the lucky ones you helped...all I can say is GOD BLESS YOU and your teams and the sponsers!!!!...we both work in Physical Therapy and were amazed to see how well you did to fix up the kids rooms for them to enjoy in such special ways when they were so badly handicapped...you guys are truly Gods angels here on Earth!!!

Love the show Ty!! This board has helped me sooo much in planning ( and saving for a whole year ) for my first trip ever!! So I'm sorry to say I don't have any first hand tips for you, but what I've read on the Dis has made it clear that the magic is all around and to not miss the small stuff. Can't wait to find some hidden Mickey's !
Here's a question for you....Have you..or the producers ever thought of building a home from the ground up for a family that may be living in an apartment and can't afford to save for a home ? That would be a dream come true !!

Ty and Rosie?

Are you serious?? That'd be the best surprise EVEERRRR!!!!
We're on our way one week from today for the first time as a family. Kids 11,8 and 4. (plus 34 yr old husband/kid ..think TY! haha)

My tip is:
1. Checklists and Disboard! I have them started as I've been researching as much as possible here for the best trip in the world..hopefully.

2. And, my friend told me they take photos of your family all over the park and you can get the disc and have all the photos there from different places. You'll have those forever and one of you weren't stuck holding that camera! (always me...I exist, really!)

3. The over the door shoe holder for bathroom items (to keep items seperate like toothbrushes etc.. off the counter) I'm really so excited about that!

Use a grocery supply service to deliver staples/beverages to your room.

I'm sorry, I should have included homeless families in my last post. My daughter and I were homeless for a short period last year, but with the Lord's help we got through.

The best tip I have is read these boards, its some of the best info you can find and stop and smell the roses in the parks. Grab a park bench and relax and people watch. Its the one of the only places in the world where people are always happy. It makes you forget your troubles because you are in the happiest place on earth.
