After reading your posting and thinking about it, I think that I may have an idea of what you are up to. You are the man who makes incredible dreams come true for families who need some hope in their lives. I also saw a posting from Simon (American Idol), who enables dreams for people who have the ability to become famous recording artists. This year is Disney's year of a million dreams; so, there is a correlation here.
How exciting! I think that you will make someones dream come true involving Disney. Are you involved in renovating the apartment in Cindy's Castle? Maybe you will make a DISer's dream come true? If you don't know if you are aware of this, but most everyone that spends time on this board would love to live at WDW (or at least spend as much time there as physically possible).
If someone has a dream to experience WDW, this is the place to spend time educating yourself. People are here great (e.g. friendly, helpful) and know everything about Disney. For example, you can learn what shoes to wear at
WDW (e.g. lime green crocs are a favorite) and great snacks to try (e.g. Dole Whip floats in MK or School Bread at Epcot).
I'll watch for your future updates. Thanks for posting on the DIS boards!
My tip....if possible and money is not an object....Hire Tour Guide Mike through his VIP Tours, for the family who will be staying at Disney while their house of dreams is being built!
I know how much time I have spent planning our trip. If the family is going on the spur of the moment notice, it sure would be nice to have someone who knows all the in's and out's of Disney World (aside from taking the DISBOARDS with them!!!)
Hi Ty! Love your show!! When you are sending a family to the World, send them off with a tour book or two for t he drive or flight there. They have some great ones for kids even. We never go to Disney without looking through a tour book or two.
Schedule enough time for some down time to stop and feel the majic! I convinced DH to take just one more day so we can take our time and enjoy everything from the resorts to the parks etc.
My guess would be - You are working on Cinderella's room in the castle!! I love the fact that you send most of the families to WDW while you are redoing their houses!! Ahhhh, what a magical place! My tip is to send more and more people to WDW! The happiest place on earth. I can't wait to be there! Maybe you will have that room done before I get there!
Ty, I just wanted to say that you and your crew are wonderful people and that I cry every time i see your show.
My Disney tip for you or anyone out there is to experience Disney with your family. You never know how long your kids will want to go on vacations with you, and to hold on to the memories. When i think back to the first time i took my DH and his face when he exerpienced the magic makes my eyes water. I am takning my son for the first time in feb and I tear up just thinking about him seeing Mickey for the first time.
