Good Morning All! I Need Your Help, Please

This is ugadog99 (Melanie), Keypooh90's mom. Carrielee (KeyPooh) starts Middle School today and she is VERY nervous and upset. You see, for the last 6 years Carrielee and I have been at the same school. I teach and have even had her in my class. For the last four years, her younger sister as also been at school with her. She has had a difficult weekend and last night was awful. She is very anxious about today. I know once she gets to school with some of her friends everything will be okay. She is extremely intelligent and very mature for her age. (Yeah, yeah, proud mom talking. ). Anyway, I would appreciate any pixie dust, advice, and good thoughts you could send her way today. Thanks in advance.

Good luck Carrielee!!

I know how terrifying it is starting a new school, but remember that everyone's in the same boat as you, no one else will know their way around, they'll all be just as nervous as you. And all your friends will be there with you anyway.

It's going to be great once you get there, I bet there's loads more facilities and things to do there, in a few weeks time it will feel like you've been there forever, you won't even remember your old school.

Let us know how it goes and tell us all about it when you get home

i know excactly how nervous you feel. im going through the same thing right now. next week i start the learning program im going to b4 the army. ill be in a totally new place, with totally new ppl. plus i have to sleep there!
but i know that everything will work out for both us! youre with youre friends, and just remember that, like suzi said, everyone is just as freaked out as you are!
have a great time (yeah, i know, its school, but still...lol ) and dont worry. youll feel right at home in no time!

Good luck!! It can get very nervous but by the time you are there its like you forget how nervous you were. After you see your friends you start enjoying it. I start a new school next month and I am really scared..but i know everything will be ok.

Good luck!! You don't have to be nervous I'm kinda nervous and I have to go to a new school too but to make it worse they just built it and you'll get to see your friends and if you have any classes with them mabye you could meet before you go to that class

Don't worry, Carrielee! It's normal to be a little nervous on the first day of a new school.. heck, I start college in a few weeks and I'm certainly nervous. But I'm sure that once you get through the first day - even the first few minutes, you'll feel a lot better. Plus, at least you will have friends there already! Often the scariest thing is simply the unknown - I'm sure after you get through your first day you will feel a lot better about middle school. I had a lot of fun in middle school, I bet you will too. Thank you for all of your good wishes !!!!!!! Today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be . Several of my friends were in some of my classes, so I didnt feel as lonley as I thought it would be !!!!

I know that today already happened but i hope it was great! i know changing schools is hard but you get used to it!!! when i went to hs a lot of my ms were not going there so i felt kinda lost. but you make friends and you find old ones! well im still sending prayers & pixie dust youer way!!
