Hi all - been reading the Universal thread section a while but still havent found a couple of things I am looking for. Is there a good map someone can link me up to of the locations of each of the 3 Universal hotels, relative to the parks and each other? If it had some of the other area hotels on it, all the better. (Like, is the Comfort Inn really THAT close - ie. walking distance?)

Also, is there a easy list of all the abbreviations? I know all of my WDW ones and feel like I am starting all over!:lmao:

Thanks!

Hopefully this helps: http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v...y=0&phscl=1&ss=yp.hotels~pg.1~sst.0&encType=1. Zoom in a couple of times for a better view. Click on Bird's Eye for a very close view.

I'm not aware of any abbreviation list for Universal. The Most common ones are RPR (Royal Pacific Resort), HRH (Hard Rock Hotel), PBH (Portofino Bay Hotel) and IOA (Islands of Adventure).
Oh my gosh - that thing is really great - not to mention COOL! :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Ps - IOA was the BIG mystery to me - so thanks again!

should i have listed red head?
Welll, not so sure about that - but maybe I should get on the TEMPORARY REDHEAD list (I know my avitar shows me w/ Green fur though.... ) I tried my first EVER attempt at covering some greys......and instead of 'light amber brown" - I got "kind-of red" !:lmao:

Some of them are on the DIS abbreviation list found here:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/abbreviations.htm

I did just give them feedback that they are missing RPR for Royal Pacific Hotel and HHN for Halloween Horror Nights.

You will also see a few of us refer to the new Rip, Ride, Rock-it Coaster as RRR.

HP is sometimes used to talk about the upcoming Harry Potter area at IOA.

Sometimes you'll see USF for Universal Studios Florida, which is a separate park than IOA.

IOA + USF + CW (City Walk) + 3 on-site hotels (RPR, PBH, and HRH) = UO (Universal Orlando) :goodvibes
