All jeans now seem to be made of some stretchy material that gets baggy towards the end of the day and my crotch ends up down at my knees? Anyone know any (not too $$$)brands that are just old fashioned cotton denim? Even my favorite levis now have the spandex material!

I'm a real fan of the "Not Your Daughter's Jeans" brand----though I never pay full price (get them at Nordstom's Rack). They have a touch of spandex--but they are so darn comfortable and don't sag or bag.:goodvibes
I have a pair of black skinny legs and dark blue wash boot cut--both ever so nice.

I have several pair of Maurices that are not at all stretchy, they are my favorite jeans.

I love GAP jeans, but I get the "curvy" line!!

Gap 'long and lean' are popular.

:confused3seem it really like this

Does Nordstrom rack have the plus sizes or just the regular?

I know what you mean about the stretch jeans. I do not like them at all either! Eddie Bauer has 'normal' denim jeans!!!!

I think Not Your Daughter's Jeans are stretchy, aren't they?

I love Angels jeans! they are stretchy but NEVER stretch out. you never have to "pull them up"

I like Gap jeans, but you need to buy them online with a coupon code to make them not so expensive. I usually try them on in store and then buy them online.

I have a pair from J.Crew and a pair from Ann Taylor Loft that are just denim with no stretch.

I got a great pair of straight leg, non stretchy, fit-me-well Liz Claiborne jeans at JC Penney.

I think they were on sale for all of 24.99.

Believe it or not but the Riders at WalMart are fantastic.:thumbsup2 I was a non beleiver too until my very curvy (non-plus sized MIL) got tired of paying 70+ for jeans that would never fit correctly.:guilty: She got the heads up from another lady while in a department store shopping for yet another pair. She tried them, she now loves them, told me about them an now I love them too. :lovestruc And the less then 30 bucks per pair are a plus too.

I just got Lee jeans and they are not stretchy. I have some that are but they never bag at the knee! They were $23 at Kohls.

Are the NYDJ reasonably priced at the nordstrom rack? I tried on a pair and fell in love. Just not willing to pay that price.

I wear the Riders as well. I'm a size 12 with smaller waist but larger hips and thighs. They stretch just the right amount where I need them to and they DO NOT gap at the wast in the back. My only complaint is the Average length are longer than average (I'm a 31" inseam) and tend to hit the floor unless I'm wearing thick soled shoes. I've tried the Short but they are a bit too short. I kind of miss the tapered leg style. I'll deal with the length if they fit everywhere else though! :thumbsup2

I've been buying gap jeans because they actually make my size, its easy to find a gap and they don't get overly saggy. They still get that stretchy thing but not as bad as most jeans now. Express jeans seem to grow 4+ sizes by the end of the day. Rock and Republic jeans are also pretty good. Earl Jeans have also been good to me. :)
