My family attended MVMCP for the first time last year. We had PS for LTT @ 7pm. By the time we left the first parade was half over and we did not get a chance to see the shows or storytelling. I was just looking over the guidebook to last year thinking of a game plan for this year. Does anyone have some ideas?

Thanks

Do you have draft of how your itinerary is setup yet? If you do then great...post it so we all can see it.

We don't really have an itinerary but they offer two parades at 8:15 and 10:45. Wishes is at 9:15, Mickey's Twas the Night is offered at 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, 9:30, and 10:30. There is a celebrate the season show at the Castle Forecourt at 7:00, 9:30, and 12:00. Goofy's Jamboree is 7:30, 8:45, and 10:00. (HUGE LINE LAST YEAR) They also have storytelling but DS's will be 3 1/2 and 7 mos. Last year our oldest fell asleep and we watched the second parade. They recommend you get your free holiday pic done first, and go to the second parade. I am expecting the 7 month old to be asleep but my oldest will make it later this year. I was just wondering if anyone else went and what there course of action was. I like to plan:)

Thanks again

We've been to MNSSHP and we ate at the LTT before 6 pm.

THis year will be myfirst at MVMCP. We have LTT PS at 5:20. Remember the party starts at 7:00 so you do not want to eat at 7:00. I can see how by the time you finished you would miss quite a bit!

Even without a park hopper you can enter the park shortley after 4pm. You should plan on being done eating by 6:45 the latest so you can enjoy the festivities as soon as the party begins.

I posted a ? about what are the must see & do's for the evening on the strategies board and have gotten some good tips.

Hope that helps.

We attended MVMCP last year and here is what we did:

We entered the park around 4:30, picked up a stroller for the kids (free stroller rental for MVMCP). We then slowly made our way to the Crystal Palace for our 5:15 PS. We ate dinner and left CP around 6:30 then took a seat in front of the castle for the show. We watched the 7 pm show, then went over to It's A Small World where we had our picture taken with no wait. We then spent some time in Fantasyland & Toontown riding rides and went over and watched Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas. We saw some of Wishes from Tomorrowland but didn't have a great vantagepoint. After that we headed back to Liberty Square and watched the late parade. After the parade we slowly made our way down Main St. and did some shopping.

I felt like we did and saw a fair amount considering we our kids were 6 & 4. We are hoping to go again this year and will try and get a good view for Wishes as well as seeing Goofy's Jamboree and the parade.

Definitely get a PS for between 5 and 6 pm, then get ready to enjoy the evening!
