Good insoles for flat, wide kid's feet?

We haven't had luck with expensive orthotics, so I am looking for some insoles for my kids, they both have wide flat feet. My daughter in particular gets foot pain after a long day of walking around. We buy stride rite shoes (one for the few with wide for her. And we have an outlet so price is good)

I've been looking online, for either corrective or comfort insoles wondering if anyone has a recommendation? Trip in late fall so I want to get her used to them at the end of summer.

I would find a independent shoe store. When my dds needed orthopedics we got them (called cookies) at an independent shoe store a couple town over. They had her try on about ten different shoes before they were happy with how the shoe fit with the cookie. Best money we spent

If anyone is looking for a sandal, we have been happy wiht the fit and support of the Chaco kids sandal this year. She doesn't have pain until about the eighth hour. who can blame her at that point? They are pricey (55) but I think we have two seasons out of them and the best support I've seen in a kids sandal.
