We leave in 3 days any good info prior to our trip? We are excited it's been a couple years since we've stayed at the Ft. Slowest time of the day for parks? What animals are at the petting zoo now? Any "Must do" advice? I love seeing everyone on here especially the cool golf carts!

That's a real crap shoot... depends on too many factors. What animals are at the petting zoo now? All of them - no animatronics yet. Any "Must do" advice? Relax, enjoy, and don't stress out about what to do! Just take each moment as it comes. I love seeing everyone on here especially the cool golf carts!

As you probably already know, there is no way you can do EVERYTHING at WDW when you're on vacation. The best thing to do is don't stress out trying to do and see it all. You'll wear yourselves out, start getting on each other's nerves, and will end up having a bad time. I've seen it happen time and time again.

I don't know your family situation and how many days you're staying, but why not give each person in your family the opportunity to plan "their day" so everyone gets one day to do exactly what they want. No whining allowed when it isn't "your day"!!

If you are an early riser, I've heard that the parks are empty at opening -- I wouldn't know because we don't get moving that early. I would say must do things for us (me mostly) are at Epcot -- Soarin, Mission Space, Turtle Talk (great for little kids) and World Showcase -- all of it.

MGM has some new rides that are great I hear -- Toy Story -- also Tower of Terror Rockin Roller Coaster and Star Tours -- also American Idol opening soon. Animal Kingdom-- Harambe, Expedition Everest all the shows and Magic Kingdom just about everything.

The petting zoo is still there, just no more animals. It's going to be hot stay hydrated. Have a fun and safe trip.

It's also okay to just sit down and people watch when you get tired or thirsty, have some water or soda, and people watch. Remember you are on vacation.

I'd agree with another poster. I hate getting up early, but the parks are the best when it is quieter in the morning and you can do a few things without waiting in long lines. Relax after lunch and return later.

Cool things at the fort.....Golf cart!!! It is just fun and nice to have after a long day at the parks. We love to find animals. We have a family contest to see who can spot the coolest animal. My DH won last year with a bald eagle and otters. The campfire movies and fireworks at the beach are great too.

As for the parks, I do get there early. It is wonderful to be on the boat going to MJ in the morning. The world is just waking up and it is peaceful. Last year we got there at rope drop for every park. We really didn't intend to but my son wakes up early so you might as well get going. It was really nice though. We got on many rides and then left the park after lunch when the crowds got there.

Have fun.
