So last night we decided on CR. my dh didnt like look of GF:(

I am thinking of booking garden wing for our stay and then hopefully bumping up to TPV with discount if available. Is that a good idea?? I have read that gw rooms book out faster so that is why i am thinking of doing this.

My dh and i both agree that we would only upgrade to TPV and not lake view in the tower.

What do people think?? Good idea??

I like the idea of being close to MK as we spend a lot of time there so this is a good solution since he doesnt want poly again.

Sounds good. You have more than a year until your trip, don't be surprised if your feelings change again.

Very true!! I would book poly without a doubt if there was no construction planned...which is why I am finding it difficult to find another resort we love!

I want to book now and pay it off over the year or at least save for it in another account :)

I think that's a good idea. I hope a good discount comes out so you can upgrade to TPV :goodvibes.

Just called to book it and standard view is already gone...how crazy is that???

We have had a very hard time finding standard or even garden view rooms at CR during our May 2014 dates! My sister eventually happened to snag one this weekend by calling, even when not available on the website. I had been checking for 3 days, and in the morning of the 3rd day a standard view came up--we should have booked it--but by afternoon it was off the website!

was that for garden wing?? I called and still none. i was surprised.

Sounds like a good plan. A few thoughts:

We've stayed in TPV room at BLT. It was nice, but I actually perferred our Lake View room we had on a previous trip. Remember that TPV also includes a view of a parking lot. At any other resort, that's standard view, but because you can also see the castle, it's a premium with the price tag to match. All factors considered, it was fun to try once but I would not pay top dollar for that view.

We've never stayed in a GW room because they don't have balconies. We spend a fair amount of time at the resort, especially at night when the kids are sleeping, so we like the convenience of sitting outside on the balcony.

Finally, I agree with a previous poster. You have a while before your trip and your thoughts might change on resort choice. Other things like discounts might factor in as well. We are 5 weeks out from our trip and I have changed several times because AP discounts were just released.

Have fun planning!!
