anyone know of a good holiday insurance company with good rates for a 25 day holiday for a family of 3
and who would be the best company for my friend to get insurance cover with for her son, daughter (who has epilepsy) and herself (who has diabetes) How much do you think her cover will cost? and are there any extras we should both add on to our policys knowing how insurance minded the Americans are

try insureandgo we have annual travel (family of 4)with them £110 but thats top and no excess to pay (been hit by huricanes and claimed with them). You can take 21 days no problem you can stay for longer as well

I have always recommended M&S but, apparently, they were 'taken over' by Axa this last year :confused3

Last year they covered DH with a pre-existing, 15 year brain tumour.
This year they didn't want to know and we had to take out extra insurance.

I needed to claim, last year, for DD's ear infection and had the claim amount, in the post , within a week :thumbsup2

This year, since the changeover, I needed to claim for a minor medical appt for DD and a dental claim for me.......I ended up ignoring DD's minor claim and claiming my dental expenses from my 'Westfield' account!

M&S wanted GP letters from both medical and dental parties!
Seeing as DD's medical expenses were £10, (and the GP letter would be £30), and my GP has never, to my knowledge, seen my teeth but they needed him to write to my dentist............I have not re-newed our M&S insurance :confused3
