What are some good and reasonably prices restaurants near Disney's HHI?

Thanks,
Nick

We love the Sea Shack. It is just that....a shack, and nothing fancy at all. You will eat the freshest seafood that is all prepared to order off plastic plates with plastic forks....and you will LOVE every bite.

It is quite popular and the line forms early. There are only a handful of tables, so be prepared to wait. You order your food at the counter and then find your table.....never the other way around.

Other places we tried and liked....Signe's Bakery and Cafe, the Hilton Head Diner and for something a bit fancier Scott's Seafood Restaurant. Scott's is actually within walking distance of the resort, right at Shelter Cove.

Another Vote for Signe's. Good Breakfast!

We found great Pizza at the Brick Oven near Sea Pines.

Thanks! There are 2 Sea Shack's... which one?

Really??? That is news to me! The one we have been to is on Executive Blvd. Just off Pope not far from the traffic circle.

Does anyone else have any good HHI restaurants they would like to tell us about?

Here's a short list:

Breakfast: Sun Rise Cafe, Skillets
Mexican: San Miguels, Mi Tierra's
Pizza: Giuseppi's, Del Vecchio's or the 30" pie at Monster Pizza (Bluffton)
Fish and Chips: Reilley's, British Open Pub
Seafood: Black Marlin, Alexander's, Redfish
Fun: One Hot Mama's, Capt Woody's, Salty Dog
A bit upscale: Stripes, Truffles, Tapas, Santa Fe, Jazz Corner
Up, up scale: HH Prime, Harbour Town Grill, Old Fort Pub, Trinity, May River Grill
Up, up, up scale: The Inn at Palmetto Bluff (Bluffton)
This can't be good but it's great!: Sunset Grille

Locals only: Up The Creek, Yummy House, The Fifth of May, Squat n' Gobble (Bluffton)

We frequent Sea Shack on Executive. We also LOVE Guiseppes. And I love to get the oysters at Hudsons.

Chum, do you know if Fifth of May has any connection with the restaurant of the same name down at St Simons island? I love that place.

It's been about 6 years since I've visited St Simons but I know the owners of Cinco De Mayo on HHI and they opened this one just over a year ago.
This is home made mexican food. The menu changes when their mother/aunt visits from Mexico. She gets to work in the kitchen on some special dishes which are delicious. The prices are a bit higher than expected but the quality is too. This gem is tucked between Pope Ave and Park Plaza.

Another vote for Sea Shack at Executive, but . . . if you would like a great authentic Irish pub for drinks and appetizers I highly suggest:

Murphies Pub
81 Pope Ave
Hilton Head Isle, SC 29928

A friend of mine used to play rugby for the team they sponsored. It was SO much like Cheers. Minutes after we were their the girl behind the bar was calling us (me and 2 friends-girls weekend) The guys on the team would go behind the bar and pull their own drafts. Great pub food and they have authentic Irish food to choose from if you are interested. The owner is originally from Dublin (?) but still very Irish even though he has been in the states for a while . It is a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday night just hanging out. There were just a few people when we were their (less than 10) we had a great time hanging out at the bar chatting a enjoying each other, but it could also be intimate. There was a couple in the corner who just sat and enjoyed each others conversation most of the night.

Also as a side note- we were 3 girls out without a guy we felt very comfortable there.

Hudson's was good and of course you must make the tourist stop at the Salty Dog.
