Can't speak for someone else's computer, but the site is relatively slow for me also. I'm not having the same problem with other sites. I just figured it was due to the volume of activity on this site when compared with others I visit.

This is the only site that has the delay. For example, from the time I clicked on the Quote button for this reply until it actually came up was over a minute. Every other site I go to is almost instantly there. Just wondering!

It has been brutal for some months, progressively getting worse. It has been slow for years, chronically, but of recent it has been And time or day of the week makes no difference, it is slow all days, all times.

It is DEFINITELY slow!!!
This is the only site that I have this problem with...very annoying.

For sure it's slow - I kept blaming my DH for the slowness as he's downloading some stuff, but every other site is quick. It's painful!

I open multiple screens and catch up on the news or Facebook while I wait for these pages to load.

I posted this same complaint last week. so now I know it is not my computer. It seems to happen to me later in the evening. It gets so bad, that I just shut it off. Maybe they need to have this looked into.

It is and has been slow for me as well. During busy daylight hours it is really bad. Not as bad if I check during an off time such as the middle of the night.

I usually have the most problems with the site between about 11 PM and 1 AM Central Time. Also, I get this weird sound bug while looking around the DIS boards, and it only happens while on the boards. I don't have mutliple web pages open b/c I am usually looking through the boards as I play World of Warcraft and my character is flying from one point to another. What happens is that all of a sudden my computer will start playing a clip of music, or scene from a movie or t.v. show. Last night it sounded like an AC/DC song and then someone flipping through radio stations and t.v. stations with a lot of static. Then it gives me a "not responding" error and I have to crtl+alt+delete out of Internet Explorer which usually takes several minutes b/c it freezes up my laptop for a bit. I play WoW during the day and look through the boards while in flight, but I usually never get that bug during the day.

I've noticed it lately, too. It's getting really frustrating to read, and even harder to post -- gets hung up almost every time. This is at work and at home, different times of the day, different computers, different everything. Only commonality is that this site is the only one I use with such speed problems. Something seems to be amiss.

I concur Disboard has slowed down ALOT, seems to have gotten worse since the last maint/update the site had. When trying to post its slow enough to bounce btw this site and another. Shawn
