Good Garden View Rooms Poly

I would recommend Fiji.

Our GV room had a wonderful view. Our room (3rd floor, non-marina side) overlooked beautiful, lush vegetation, a small beach with palm trees, the Wedding Pavilion and the monorail.

It was a hop, skip and a jump to the Great Ceremonial House which was very convenient. And it was a short walk to the volcano pool.

We have also stayed in Tahiti. While the rooms and hallways seem larger here I like the location of Fiji better.

Enjoy the Poly! :sunny:

Some of the garden view rooms in Tokelau actually have a lagoon room (maybe 1910). I can't remember what our room number was, but we had a view of the lagoon, and the Grand Floridian from our room.

My room was in Aoretorea(sp?) even though it was technically a garden view I had a direct view of the monorail.I liked it, it made it seem like I was still at the parks.

We had a great room in Roratonga, which is convenient to everything! We were on the first floor and had a nice little patio (don't leave your door open or ducks might walk in!!!) and you could see the monorail zip by. We faced out to the parking lot side - but the trees and plants block that veiw. Oh, to sit out at night when the torches are lit . . .

we had a great room.. 1919 and 1920 they are garden but when sitting on the patio you can see the beach and contemporary easily. straight across was the entrance to tahiti and you are just steps to the beach.

We had a great room in Tokelau, room 1913. It was a 'garden view', but we had a great view of the beach and Grand Floridian. It was a VERY short walk to the beach and the boat launch to MK. A quick walk to the large pool (next to the quiet pool) via the beach walkway; a short walk to the main building (restarants and monorail) and the laundry building. I nice walk to the TTC to catch the monorail to EPCOT. The bus stop was next to the laundry building! So I think this building is ideally located! You can't see the monorail from there, however, if that is important to you.

You should visit Tikiman's web site. It has everything you could possibily want to know about the Poly.

I requested Fiji when I reserved a garden room at the Polynesian. One side overlooks the Marina and across to the volcano pool. We got our location and it was nice as we could see some of the lagoon and up into 'Ohana where I could see Mickey Mouse at the charater breakfastm but I think the other side was actually prettier with the gardens and lawns and pathways. Many rooms had views of the beach which wasn't to far away, as well as some of the lagoon and the Grand Floridian.

We also had a monorail view here and LOVED it. We were on the third floor and really enjoyed the view from the balcony. It was so Disney! The kids easily ran over to the GCH to refill their mugs.

I too prefer the Fiji longhouse at Poly. We stayed there last May and found it to be perfect. Our garden view was of the beautiful Marina. Also I could see the volcano pool and a portion of the lagoon. Loved it! I am going to request this longhouse again this May!
