I posted this elsewhere, I should have done it here. I'm easy, I'll eat just about anything, but for the most part eating dinner at Disney restaurants has been brutal. Breakfasts are good, ad the snack is fine, but we ate at Japan (my kids love the Japanese steakhouse near our home), Sci-Fi diner (awesome atmosphere, food horrible), and Pizza Planet ( who is the genius that thought of the meal deal as a salad and pzza with no beverage????)

Can anyone relate? We had a GREAT meal at the california grille, it's double points but worth it.

Anyone have any suggestions, we are now DVC members, and would like to use the meal plan again, we're just looing for suggestions on some decent places to eat, please help. :surfweb:

We had good food at:
Crystal Palace - a buffet but with good quality food - at MK
Whispering Canyon Cafe - my husband said it was the best food we on our trip!
Pinnochio House - counter service back in MK - good pizza and salad (and drink!!)
O'Hana - ate there for both breakfast and dinner. Good food and LOTS of it!

I agree with SciFi - atmosphere was fun, but food was so-so.....

Hope this helps!

Okay, let me try sending this again: These are the restaurants we've had great dining experiences, in recent years.

Non-signature TS: Rose and Crown, Marrakesh, Biergarten, Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood and Vine, Brown Derby (though I just had some bad service there, the food was great), Liberty Tree Tavern.

CS: Tusker House, Flame Tree, Studio Catering Company/Flatbread Grill, Seasons.
