Good Dinosaur Teaser released

another highly anticipated movie from Pixar has finally released a teaser trailer. The Good Dinosaur comes to theaters later this year.

Cool. The animation looks brilliant and the story sounds interesting. Cars 2 was bad, and Brave and Monsters University were underwhelming, so it's good to see some quality stuff from them once again.

I liked brave thought overall it could've been better but the story was good.

So there's two Pixar films coming out this year? I was trying to keep up with this one, but I haven't in a while. I'm excited! I like the non-sequels of Pixar so I'm excited to see two new stories for them!

It did. I can see another ''Brave is not original'' controversy happening depending on how original this story results. Back when Brave was released, many critics argued that Pixar took some stuff from The Little Mermaid, and took the concept from Brother Bear and made it work. From what we know about Good Dinosaur, I can see Dinosaur/Land Before Time/Ice Age comparisons coming. It's too early to know though. This could very well have a totally original plot.

It's supposed to be about a boy and how he and a dinosaur are friends because obviously the astroid missed earth. It's like what if humans and dinosaurs lived amongst each other.

While there are some more sequels coming from Pixar, I'm loving the original IP. Between the rave reviews for Inside Out and this one coming later in the year, it's a good year for Pixar.

I thought the trailer was good but not mindblowing. I'll go and see it because I'm a disney fan but i'm not sure if the general public in the UK will... It hasn't been very advertised over here yet.

Generally speaking, most movies haven't seemed to be advertised much at the teaser stage. Typical progression that I see (here in the U.S.) is teaser > trailers > start and increase in television ads as release date approaches. Don't think any of us will see too much about it right now with it still being over five months down the road.

That's a fair point, here's hoping it picks up some momentum in the next few years. And positive momentum...
