Does anyone know of a good dentist here in orlando? I have the delta dental and I just don't know where to go. I've lived in the area for about a year and a half now. Quite frankly I'm scared out of my wits to even go to the dentist, but I have a cavity that's been bothering me so I'd like to just get a cleaning and have that taken care of. I went to a lady in dr. philips and she was just awful. She chastized me for not having been to the dentist in over a year (I didn't have insurance.. what did she want from me?!) and said I couldn't just get a regular cleaning, I had to get a special cleaning that would cost $100 in addition to my insurance, and then said I was neglecting the care of my teeth because I didn't have (and still dont) the money. sheesh.
So.. I really don't care where the dentist is at this point.. I live in east orlando, but as long as it's somewhere in the greater orlando area. They just have to be nice and it would help if they were good with kids.. I'm really worse than a child when I'm at the dentist, and a visit has involved a panic attack more than once, and I'm not even prone to them.
TIA!!
