Good deal or not????

Let me ask you all this just. So I understand, if go with the 7 day hopper and add the plus option can I go to the 4 parks (MK,AK,MGM,EPT) for the seven days then on the other two days I have left on my trip can I go to the two waterparks on the other two days or do I have to use the plus passes (5 visit) as one of my 7 day park days? Maybe I just don't understand how the tickets work with the 7 day park hopper with plus option. Thanks again

The plus options can be used on another day. They are separate from park days.

Right on the money! On our 2000 trip we planned a day in the middle to go to a waterpark. That morning we asked the kids, 13 yr old boy, 2, 11 yr. old girls and a 5 yr. old girl if they wanted to go to Blizzard Beach. They all asked if they would have to get on a bus to go there. When they found out that they would they asked if they could just go to the pool (Port Orleans Riverside/Dixie Landing back then), eat at the hotel and just handg out. It was a really nice day, no fussing and running around just relaxing. The kids knew that they needed a break too. It gave us a chance to do a little laundry and the adults (3) were able to charge our batteries. This trip, husband, daughter (16) and I have built in many "days of rest" because we have never had a chance to really enjoy many of the "free" things at Disney. 10 days of parks only will drive you and the kids insane! Believe us when we tell you that.

Normally I would agree. But with the new tickets it is not quite the same as before. The 10 day ticket is only $10 more than the 7 day ticket! So they could still have a "day off" from the parks and swim in the pool, etc. but then go to a park just to see the night time parade/show, etc. It would allow them to spread their 7 days over 10 days but take it easier over the whole trip. No trying to squeeze everything in in only 7 days! I think for the little bit of extra money it would be worth it.

I agree that the 10 day ticket makes sense, but am not sure if PH option is necessary with this many days. That would save some money, too.

Where have any of you found discount airfare. I have been to most of the big online sites and to a few travel agents and they are all about the same price. I have read that it is hard to get a good deal out of DFW. Any suggestions on where to find discounts on airfare?
