Good Cheap Eats!

Its not in Disney, but the Roadhouse Grill has Kids eat for free (12 and Under) with the purchase of an adult meal on Tuesdays. We always eat here when we are in Orlando. We didn't even know about this until last time we went on Wednesday and they told us we should have come in the night before and let us know about the deal. We will definately be taking advantage of it this time.

Does anyone have directions? One of my faves has been Golden Corral. I think there's one on Int'l Drive, but they have since built one even closer. It's like 9. for dinner, and there's usually a coupon, if you can find it online or in a local coupon book.

There is a cici's pizza real close to Cypress ponte villas. It is 8586 palm parkway. IT is right behind crossroads. We found it with no problem. The pizza was good and the cinnamon buns were even better! Friendly workers too.

Just want to say thanks for posting about Cici's-My two teenage step children will love it!:)

Sweet Tomatoes...YES!!!!

And no matter where you're planning to dine, be sure to pick up as many coupon books as possible. I think there must literally be a dozen or more, and between them they offer discounts on just about everything possible in Orlando. You can find them in racks in almost any store (Wal-Mart on 192 has the best selection). Some of them have really useful area maps, too. I make it a rule to never pay full price for anything in the Kissimmee/Orlando area.

DEFINITELY!! Thanks for the great tips!! Love your Little Mermaid picture, too!!

We are trying Sweet Tomatoes this year too!! That menu looks yummy, and a change from the hot dogs, hamburgers, and fries!!!!!

Another thumbs up for Sweet Tomatoes--the food is very good. Wanted to add their kids meal prices are very reasonable. We ate there this past Saturday and it only cost $1.50 for our 3-year old--great deal! They put coupons in the Sunday paper all the time, too.

Barb, thanks for the tip about the coupon books. We're staying offsite for the first time in a long time on our next trip and I'll definitely be looking to save money wherever we can!

Our cici's in raleigh has 99cent kids night on mondays, plus they give them free mini golf passes.

From talking to my Mother in Law, I do believe, someone can correct me if I am wrong, that the kids eat off the same buffets as the adults. So that list that Cinders put on would be the same for the children

Yes, at Sweet Tomatos the kids eat off the adult buffet. Mykids (4 yrs. old) love the pizza, pasta, and ice-cream sundaes.:)
We are planning to go off the resort in the afternoons for our big meals of the day. What does everyone recommend, and where are these places located? If we go to the main entrance of WDW, would we turn left/right to find a main strip of restaurants? Please help..............

What is the price for Sweet Tomatoes? That looks interesting!

4.50/ child under 12, and 2.00 3 and under. Found the info on these boards, so I can't vouch for the accuracy. I do know that my DD1 eats enough that 2. for her is definetly worthwhile!

We don't eat offsite on vacation usually EXCEPT for Sweet Tomatoes. It's great food at reasonable prices.

I found coupons on E-bay for Sweet Tomatoes. The coupon price is $5.99 lunch and $6.99 for dinner. The coupons save about $2 off the regular price. The coupons are valid for up to four people.
