Good car rental rate?

I have been playing around with car rental companies-ID#, coupon codes, rate codes etc. for a few months now for our Oct. rental. Today I got a compact from Alamo for a week for $136. This is the lowest I have seen. I was looking at Budget, National and Alamo. We haven't rented a car in 12years but we are going to Vero Beach. i am thinking this is a very good rate? Any feedback? TIA

I am looking for good codes/rates for car rental as well. We will be visiting friends for a couple of days in Tampa and will need a minivan after WDW. I checked Expedia and the cheapest was $122.95 for two days. I'd like something cheaper if I can find it

Not sure how the rates run in Oct, but that sounds like a decent rate to me. We paid $144 for an intermediate for 8 days back in April. $136 sounds like a good rate to me. Keep watching though because they drop. Rebook a new ressie and then cancel the old one. I do it all the time.
