So glad that southwest has their dates extended to the end of the year.. i was DYING!!! looking at the high prices of the flights for my October trip.. now i'm more happy although I still have to consult with DBF on what time he prefers (since he's driving :rolleyes1)

We live in Vancouver and will be flying from Seattle to Orlando. Was wondering if anybody here can direct us to the right direction on where to park our car during our trip. I've searched before and being a clutz.. i searched at work and neglected to forward that site back home.. now i can't find it anymore.. *sigh*

So.. i turn to the experts.. ^^ so any ideas on where to park or where NOT to park.. LOL!

Thanks in advance!!!

We used M Park. It was a great price, had great reviews and I must say we had no issues. It was close, there were a TON of shuttles, and they pick you up right at your car. They are a branch of master park I think, but cheaper.

The only potential downside is they are 100% automated and therefore you MUST pay with a Credit Card when you leave. No debit, no cash and no person in a booth if there is a problem.

We were there in the early morning Dark, and it was well lit and seeing there was at least one shuttle there at pretty much all times made me feel like my vehicle was more secure. I'm sure it's a bit quieter through out the night, but it sure beats the places that have the shuttle driver meet you at the front.

They also helped us load and unload our luggage, and brought us back right to our vehicle upon arrival.

I would reccomend them.

MasterPark hands down. We use them every time we park in Seattle.

We go down the night before, and stay at The Towneplace Suites near Southcenter Mall. They are 10 min from airport, have an airport shuttle, and free parking.

We always book early morning flights, so I don't want to pull an all nighter, having to leave Vancouver at 1:00 am, to catch a 6:00am flight. I'd rather be there.

Thanks for the parking suggestions!

I'm thinking I might go with Sue's suggestion. I originally wanted an early flight but because it takes ~3 hours of driving from Vancouver to Seattle, I didn't want my DBF to die on the trip before even having fun :rotfl2:

We stayed over as well, but decided to spend the extra bit of $ to park at M park because I could not find a hotel park and fly that seemed secure enough. There are too many bad reviews online, and although I drive a boring old van, I just didn't want to come home to any problems at the end of a holiday.

What an awesome thread! We were just looking at where to park in Seattle yesterday and had no idea there were realistic options outside of just parking at Seatac. We'll definitely be checking out m-park; the shuttle service sounds awesome.
