I wanted to take the time to say Good Bye to everyone that I have been lucky enough to cook with, have tea with and search for treasure with. I (Chef Drew) have left Walt Disney World. I hope this note gets passed around. I will miss all of you and I will always remember all the wonderful memories you have given me.

I wish I knew you and more of your story.....but I wish you all the best just the same......I hope that the pixie dust follows you all of the days of your life!princess:

:( Oh no! Please say it isn't so! My grandkids will be so disappointed. They've been to tea parties, on pirate cruises, and cooking adventures, and they've had so much fun every time. I am so sorry to hear that you're no longer there, but I guess we couldn't expect you to "stay in the kitchen" forever. I hope you're doing something you enjoy. The Grand Floridian Kids Adventures -- and my family -- will surely miss your smiling face.

Abby, Kaity, and William's Nana . . . Pat

Good luck, Drew, wherever you go next!

Good Luck Chef Drew. My 2 daughters have had the pleasure of cooking with you and also tea. All the best to you.

My kids were just talking about you the other day.... seems you got a little too greedy on their pirates cruise and they left you behind on the "deserted island"!;)

Good luck to you Drew! You made a lot of kids happy!:sunny:

Chef Drew,

I was so sad prior to my last WDW vacation when I learned that you had moved on from the GF's children's activities. You & my daughter go way, way back. To think that my family won't get the chance to see your cheery face during any of our upcoming WDW vacations is almost unbearable. I feel like we are losing a dear family member.

I should note that even my daughter had a little something to say after our last WDW vacation in regards to your departure from the GF’s children's programs. I posted her words in Page 5 of my trip report click here, but will re-post them below:

Once again, my daughter had a comment to make about a Disney event. Here it is, straight from the mouth of my babe:

"I want to change something about the cooking class. I want Chef Drew to come back. He was a lot of fun. He would write our names on our aprons as 'Chef.' And after he wrote 'Chef,' he would write our real names underneath it. Then he would be like, 'What is my name?' And people would call him 'Chef Drew,' but I would call him 'Stinky Drew' because he said he wasn’t any good at cooking (but I knew he was)."

I should note that Drew had been associated with the Grand Floridian’s children’s programs since my daughter first began attending them. He was wonderful with the children, and my daughter adored him. Drew has since moved on but it is obvious that my daughter really misses him.

Drew, my family & I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. If you need a reference from one of your happiest customers, just say the word.

Most Sincerely,
Janet and family

I’ll post a few links to some photos that contain bits & pieces of Drew. Even I was amazed to see how many times he appeared in them (these photos have been taken over the past several years). I guess that just goes to show why I feel like Drew was a part of our extended family during each of our WDW vacations. We will truly miss him.

Here is my very first photo that contains Drew (he's on the right in the white shirt). My daughter was barely old enough to attend the Wonderland Tea Party when that photo was taken: My Very First Drew Photo.

Farewell, Drew!

So sad. My daughter has done the cooking class twice and the tea party once. What a loss for WDW. Anyone know where Chef Drew has moved on to?

Just wanted to wish you well wherever you may go. My daughter enjoyed a couple of activities with you during various stays. The moments spent with you were highlights of her trips. I hope your new adventure in life will give you as much joy as you have given to our children wonderful memories.

Thank you very much,
A grateful parent

thank you for the memories Drew; my daughter had tea with you and also cooked with you on different trips and it was a pleasure to have met and spoken with you; you made the GF childrens activities a very magical experience for everyone; good luck in any new endeavors;
