GOING IN OCT WILLSTAY ONSITE WITH A BUDGET OF 4-5000 AND A 5OR 7 DAY STAY CAN I DO IT WHERE CAN I GET THE BEST DEAL ON RESORTS??WE WERE LOOKING ATCARRIBEAN BEACH OR ASSPORTSANY GOOD TIPS?? PLEASE HELP:)

how many people are you taking. what kind of ameneties are you expecting. Are you going to get a package with flex features or just the bare bones. Your plans on things you would like to do would help. Are you going to get length of stay passes. annual passes , or 5 day multi pass tickets. these thing will all effect how much it costs.

My recommendation is sit down make a wish list of all the things you would like to do. to help you do this purchase one of those tourist books at your local book store. Here is a list of some of the books I have: Frommer's Disneyworld, Disneyworld for Idiots, Everything you want to know about disneyworld and greater orlando(my favorite), and the official guide to disneyworld. These books will help you find the dining experiences that are appealing to you, as well as , discriptions of the different disney resorts, price ranges are also discussed. Also , in this book is information about universal and sea world, and some of the smaller attractions in orlando.

let me tell you from our experience. We are a group of 4 that stayed at the carriebean beach. We had few frill. Only ate one hot meal a day. breakfast and dinner usually ate in room.

our ticket package room/tickets for 6 days cost us roughly 2200
we had 1400 dollars in spending money between us and still came back with about 450 dollars. We are very frugal people we don't spend when we could do with out but we always have fun.

When you write back with a kind of iteneray we might be able to tell you more accurately our opinions of what it might cost.

As Kimberlyfamilyfv said, there are so many factors that will affect the cost of your trip that more details are needed.

To give you an idea of costs: A 5-day PHP (adult) is $286.50 at the gate. Advance purchase prices are lower and there are discounts for military and Disney Club.

The AllStars are Value Resorts while the CBR is a Moderate Resort and they will be priced accordingly. The time of year will also affect the cost. A Value Resort during Holiday Season will go for $114 per night. A moderate during Value Season will go for $133 per night. And if you manage to get a room-only code, you can get those rooms for even less.

Transportation is also a major expense with the train and flying costing about the same for those of us on the East Coast. Driving down will save you some money but it will eat up a couple of days of your vacation each way. Airfare from PIT or PHL will run in the range of $200 (with taxes and fees)per person via USAir.

Lastly, food will be another big budget item. If you eat 3 big meals a day, in sit-down restaurants, you'll need more money. If you have breakfast and snacks in your room, bring your own bottled water and go easy on the meals in the parks, you can get by easily on $25 per person per day.

And while a guidebook is certainly an asset (I like The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World), I would not go out and purchase one at the bookstore. Go to Half.com and buy a used 2003 version of one and read it. The info. is almost the same from year to year and you'll actually get more up-to-date information from the people on these boards.
