Anyone have suggestions on a good BBQ place to take the family? We will be arriving in just over a week and I thought it might be nice to have some really good BBQ after a long day of flying accross country.

Thanks,

Lee

we went to sonnys, it is on 192 it was very good, mondays are the specials full slab of bbr meal for 13.99

This question comes up a lot on this forum and who can blame everyone--there's nothing like good barbecue! I pulled up a thread from about six months ago that has lots of good leads for you:

BBQ In The Orlando Area

BTW, I vote for Bubbalou's Bodacious Barbecue. Best ribs in Orlando in my opinion!

we love sonny's, it's a southern chain with good prices. orlando is getting a smokey bones soon, off 192. another good choice.

Just for the record, there are already three Smokey Bones locations in Orlando. The new location will be in Kissimmee. There was a considerable amount of discussion of Smokey Bones in the thread I linked above. Here are the Orlando Smokey Bones locations:
8016 Golden Sky Lane, Orlando, FL 32809
3400 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803
7225 West Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32818

The new Kissimmee location will be at 2911 Vineland Road.

I can personally vouch for the East Colonial SB location. It's very good but my vote for best Orlando barbecue STILL goes to Bubbalou's!

kissimmee and orlando aren't the same thing anymore? :D I just saw the sign, and thought I'd check it in.
