Hello all.

My wife and I will be taking our 1 year onld next August for her first trip with us to the worlds favorite place.

As I envision that by default she will be an absolute Dis'freak as her parents are, I want to get a picture taken with all 3 of us in the same spot, every time we go to kind of build a "Disney Anthology" of her throughout the years.

Anyone have any good ideas as to locations that will make for great pictures that I can get to every year? I want it to be all encompassing where we are all easily seen, so simply saying "Stand in front of the castle" wouldn't work because there is now way to get the entire castle in the pic including a close up shot of us. But, at the same time, I want people who don't know disney like us to be able to look at the picture and easily say "that was obvisouly taken in Disneyworld"

Doesn't have to be in just MK, all parks and resorts are welcome.

Thanks and feel free to post or PM me with you ideas....they are appreciated.

Does she have any specific personality traits that you could use to guide you? Like, does she like outdoors -- maybe something in AK? What is your heritage -- can you tie it to somewhere in World Showcase?

1) I would recommend next to the MK Square Town Hall front door.
. . . the door gives a good scale to gage annual height increases
. . . the building faces no chance of major remodeling or tear-down
. . . the building is easily recognizable
2) I know there are other good sites within WDW for such a picture.
3) I would want something that won't change from year-to-year.
4) Like pencil marks on a door-jam, it is the child's height that is important.

We like the Goofy at the beginning of Mainstreet on the bench just outside Tony's

We also use the Goofy outside Tony's. My daughter has stood next every time we go and you can see the change. She was afraid of it at first but now wants to do that as the first thing when we enter the park.

On our first trip to WDW a few years ago, my wife took a picture of our 2 DD's looking at the Castle at the "Kodak Photo Spot" just past the bridge toward Liberty Square on the right hand side. We liked to photo so much, so now each time we go, we have them face the Castle, and we take that Pic.

This may be cheesy and overdone but we take a family photo at the garden in front of the train station before we even go into the Magic Kingdom. Not only do we see changes in our family but Mickey's head changes according to what time of year we've visited.

We also like this statue outside of the Contemporary resort...here are our first and then most recent pictures there. (The 2nd one has a bit of the platform we set the camera on. You can set your camera on timer and get everybody in, just watch out for that lip!!)

Things change so much from year to year at WDW, we used to get our photo's taken in the alleyway at MK on mainstreet with the flower cart, that is now the new addition to the emporium.. so we had to find a new spot.. We now do the mainstreet infront of the castle.. I doubt that they will tear that down :)
