Good Alamo rate and code?

I think that I have found some different codes for me, always look into if you are a AAA member and if you have a club membership (like Costco or Sam's)

Costco has good codes for Alamo. Comparable to the Entertainment codes but with the extra driver. Same rates pretty much as the Walmart code. I am not aware of any AAA or Sam's Club codes for Alamo. Sam's used an Expedia booking engine for their travel site and AAA seems to be in bed with Hertz. I haven't found any Sam's or AAA codes that that can be confirmed on their websites or publications.

True- I found that to be the same--that Hertz is with AAA, I think that the membership clubs seem to have some pretty good rates out there--here's to hoping I find a good one!

In all my years renting with Alamo in various cities in US, they have never asked me for a coupon when I use a coupon code. I use the online coupon codes on their wbsite under deals. Nor have they ever questioned my rental discount codes. I give them my DL and they do the paperwork, have me sign and away I go choosing the car I want.

I also think if you prepay there is a no hassle check-in, either with the kiosk or at an expidited desk. I have never prepaid, but I may this time, just to save waiting in line.

Now unless they have changed their rental policies or check-in procedures since last year, no one should have any problems renting a car with any code.

If they changed this and anyone has had a problem lately please let me know.

If you use any coupon you will not be able to prepay and check in. However, if you use a corporate code you will be able to bypass line and check in online with a credit card.
