I haven't been to Disney with kids before & got the following ADRs but now am wondering about with kids. Plan on eating most breakfast in the room - quicker! We're doing the DDP so I need to pick out some likely counter spots too but here's our ADRs. I don't know as I'll keep all of them since it's several more than our DDP will spring for.

12/15 (Studios) : 50's Prime Time (Late lunch)
12/16 (Animal Kingdom) : Sanaa (Dinner)
12/17 (Magic Kingdom) : Liberty Tree Tavern (Lunch)
12/18 : (Epcot) : Coral Reef (Lunch) & Les Chefs de France (Dinner)
12/19 : (Magic Kingdom) : Chef Mickeys (Breakfast) & Via Napoli (Epcot)

The kids have dined at nicer places with us so it won't be a total shock to the system.

I would add Crystal Palace in MK. It is a character buffet that has Pooh and friends. Very cute and good food.
It is also very handy to eat while at MK, although you need an adr to eat there. (very busy place).

Liberty Tree Tavern is just OK IMO and you might consider switching that out for a CS meal or the Crystal Palace.

I think your kids will get a kick out of the 50s prime time diner and Chef Mickey's. Coral Reef can be fun for kids too. Via Napoli and Chefs de France are safe choices with kids. I haven't been to Via Napoli yet but I used the think the food at the previous Italy resturant was awful. I've never been to Sanna so I can't comment on that. My DD really enjoyed the charecter meal at Tusker House (also in AK) and I thought the food there was pretty good.

Have a great trip.

It may just be my personal preference, but we don't like to do bigger meals/TS close together, like lunch and dinner. If we have 2 in one day, we usually do breakfast and late lunch/dinner. My kids aren't huge eaters, so they wouldn't be real hungry for dinner after a TS lunch, and I feel that's such a waste of DDP credits.

Your restaurant choices sound great though. There's a few I haven't tried but want to!

Thanks everyone. Yes, I probably won't keep both the ressies for Saturday - just snagged the Coral Reef one recently and now need to decide which Sat one to keep.

Wish I'd thought of CP when I was making booking earlier, probably would be better than Tavern. I guess I'll keep looking and see if something comes up before we leave.

And the Pooh characters are my favorite too :( I booked Chef Mickey for the kids - don't know why I didn't just think of booking 2 character meals and doing CP as the 2nd one.

my thought on it is anywhere you eat is going to be fine.. because in almost all of the restaurants they have kids meals..so if the kids are the ones you are worried about most of them will be fine..
I made a point of only making one adr a day for my upcoming trip in may.. and the rest we will just do counter service.. just know most counter service especially in the parks are just your regular park fare.. some of the resorts have really good food and a great variety..

I like almost all your choices. I have two girls (11 & 13), been going to WDW since they were 4 & 6. They have pretty much enjoyed all of the restaurants we have been to. For us, the TS meals are a great break from running around the park.

50's Prime Time Cafe--we really enjoy eating here and will be going back again! We have tried lots of entrees, lately we've been hooked on the Fried Chicken.

Liberty Tree Tavern-we have been for lunch many times and we will be going back next month! I'm stuck on the Turkey Dinner and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. There are other good things on the menu too.

Les Chefs de France-Ate there last spring for the first time. We enjoyed it. Thinking about going back sometime.

Chef Mickeys-Been there for breakfast once a few years ago. One of the few places at WDW I did NOT enjoy. Kids liked it, but I won't go back. I recommend trying for Crystal Palace. We like to book a late breakfast. I wouldn't do Chef Mickeys unless I was staying at the Contemporary.

Your other choices sound great too. Good luck planning/deciding. Enjoy your trip!
