Golo for Weight Loss

I get the skepticism—it feels like there’s always a new diet pill or program popping up. Still, I believe that a good trainer or just a solid gym routine can make a huge difference in losing weight and feeling better overall.

If you’re looking for something more to boost progress, some people choose to purchase steroids as part of their routine. Well, it can be a good option if you’re aiming to build muscle along with weight loss.

We asked our doctor about it and she said that the diet and exercise part is what will get you the weight loss, not the pill. She did mention Ozempic. She checked our A1C and we were not diabetic so she doesn’t recommend it at this time. We are doing the diet and exercise thing now…actually, we know that it has to be a lifestyle change. We know we can lose the weight this way because we have done it before and have lost some since starting Jan. 2. It wont be fast but we have to do it. My A1C wasn’t far from the diabetic range and I don’t want to have to go on meds for it so hopefully this will work. We are hoping the weight loss is going to help a lot of other problems…GERD, knee issues, high blood pressure, back issues, etc. We shall see. And this time we ARE sticking to the lifestyle change. 🙏🏻 🤞🏻
If your A1C isn't far from the diabetic range, does that mean you're prediabetic? If so, you might look in to a government-sponsored diabetes prevention class. I joined one, every week (or every other week after the first 6-8 weeks) we weighed in, had a one hour class on a related topic. I lost almost 30 pounds, lowered my A1C so I'm no longer pre diabetic, learned a new way of eating, exercise more, and no weight loss drugs.

Can I ask about the new way of eating?
What was your diet previously, & what did you change?
