Golfing suggestion?

I was thinking that I would be a very nice GF and take my BF to one of the golf courses in WDW. He hasn't golfed for over a year because of work, but LOVES to get out and golf. I am, for lack of a better word, one of the worst golfers in the world. I was looking at all the golf courses and don't know which one would suit us best. Any suggestions? We will be there the first week of December. I think they all offer golf club rentals - if you've chosen this route, do you remember how much you paid???

Since you're being such a nice GF, select the Magnolia Course. This is where the PGA Tour hosts the Disney Classic each year in October so you all would be playing on a professional course. The location is convenient, directly across from the Grand Floridian and Polynesian. There are a couple holes which run side by side with the monorail which is pretty cool too.

Magnolia is nice. But depending on when you are going to WDW to give your BF his golf outing, you might want to consider Osprey Ridge as well. Since it opened, it has been a very popular course with golfers, but it has been sold-off by Disney to the Four Seasons. It will be closing sometime in the next couple of years after the Four Seasons builds its new resort.

Osprey Ridge is pleasure to golf with many interesting holes and plenty of wildlife. After the round, the Sandtrap Bar and Grill is great place to relax with a cold drink and a bite to eat. Just tell Mike the bartender that DisneydaveCT suggested you stop in....
